Shea Wilkinson

Shea Wilkinson, a Nebraska native, has been sewing since childhood. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in International Studies and German Language. Afterward, she taught English in Mexico, during which time she became passionate about creating art. She returned to the United States and immediately pursued a new career as an artist. She has exhibited widely in national juried exhibitions, such as Craft Forms, Materials: Hard & Soft, Quilt Visions, and Fantastic Fibers. Shea has received numerous awards, including the James Renwick Alliance's Chrysalis Award for a distinguished emerging artist and an Award of Excellence at The Artist As Quiltmaker in 2016. She now lives and makes art in Russia.
